Who We Are

Specialists in Critical Infrastructure & NKP Security Training

We design, deliver, assess and certify role-specific security training for personnel responsible for safeguarding declared critical infrastructure — built on current legislation, not outdated practice.

Legal Alignment

The Critical Infrastructure Protection Act, 2019 (Act 8 of 2019) repeals the National Key Points Act 102 of 1980, establishing a modern framework for identifying, declaring and protecting critical infrastructure. Our training content, terminology and compliance obligations reflect CIPA and its interim/draft regulations.

  • Role-specific competency in risk assessment, access control, surveillance, incident management and emergency response.
  • Content reflecting the CIPA / NKP duties of the person in control — reporting, inspections and enforcement.
  • PSIRA / SASSETA / SAQA-aligned assessment that is formally certificated and audit-ready.

Questions Answered

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this National Key Point or Critical Infrastructure training?
Both. The National Key Points Act 102 of 1980 has been repealed by the Critical Infrastructure Protection Act, 2019 (Act 8 of 2019). Our programme teaches to CIPA and its interim/draft regulations while covering the transition from the NKP framework, so your personnel are trained to current law.
Are you PSIRA and SASSETA accredited?
Yes. We deliver PSIRA-accredited security training and SASSETA-accredited assessment against applicable SAQA unit standards, with registered assessors and moderators. Evidence of accreditation is provided on request.
How long does the training take?
It depends on role and firearms scope. Condensed CIP/NKP programmes start from 5 days, core SAQA-aligned programmes run 5–14 days, and extended skills programmes can run 20+ days. We confirm duration when we scope your site.
Do you offer a non-firearms option?
Yes. Where firearms are excluded, we deliver a non-shooting NKP/CIP programme. For armed roles we align to Regulation 79 recurrent firearms training and applicable SAQA firearms unit standards.
What do learners receive on completion?
A statement of results / competence and certificate, with learners recorded on the relevant SETA system and PSIRA-recognised proof where applicable. You also receive a training report including pass rates and any re-assessment plans.
Can you train on-site at our facility?
Yes. We deliver blended training with classroom theory plus practical drills at your site or a simulation venue, and range-based sessions for firearms. Site access, SOPs and anonymised incident logs help us tailor case learning.
